Meet our Board of Directors

The work Redeem-Her does would not be possible without the people who dedicate their valuable time and skills to the organization. The Board of Trustees consists of not less than five or more than eleven members that represent diversity in terms of personal and professional backgrounds and experiences.  Members are approved for terms of up to three years.  Regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every other month.  

The Board of Trustees are committed to serve and represent the organization with the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior, and to treat with respect and consideration all persons, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, maternity, marital or family status, disability age, or national origin.

Suellen Arecchi, board member, is currently Vice President and BSA Compliance Officer at the Manasquan Bank in Wall Township, NJ. Her responsibilities include investigating fraud, identity theft, criminal and suspicious activity at Manasquan Bank.
Tina Aniello Brown, board member, is owner and operator of Ark Kennel in Jackson, NJ. For four years, she managed the Second Chances Thrift Shop in Neptune City, NJ. She is pursuing certification as an Addiction Counselor.

Eleanor Novek, board member, is Professor of Communication at Monmouth University.  Her research specialties include communication in and about prisons, nonviolence, social justice, and community empowerment. She severs as a facilitator in the Alternatives to Violence Project, as well as facilitator of workshops in conflict transformation. 

Ken Rocky, board member, is retired from AT&T, where he developed major systems that were deployed to the operating companies or used by AT&T to manage its business. He later directed AT&T’s program to train new programmers and ultimately moved to the training area where he was responsible for the technical and then the management training of AT&T’s personnel.
Marilyn Rocky, board member, is a retired Executive Director of Childhope International, whose mission is to provide protection, respect, and opportunity for street and working children worldwide. This mission was supported through ongoing work in the field of human rights, advocacy, governmental relations, technical assistance, training, research, development education, program development, resource development and communications.
Jan Smith, board member, is a retired Executive Director of Development for Montclair State University. She previously spent 7 years as Director of Principal and Major Gifts at Monmouth University. During these periods, Jan successfully raised millions of dollars toward capital campaigns resulting in the renovation and construction of new academic buildings.
Prudence White, board chair, is a retired Human Resources Manager from Fort Monmouth, NJ. Following government service, she spent 10 years consulting to government agencies in New Jersey and Maryland. Prudence returned to the Redeem-Her Board in 2014 after serving as member and chair from 2007 to 2009.
