Last year (2007), because of your support: 355 incarcerated women received clothing packages including 1,139 shirts, 303 winter coats and 350 professional/career outfits 141 children whose mothers are incarcerated or recently released received over 1,500 Christmas gifts 4 mothers redeemed their 8 children from foster care 23 women had the opportunity to participate in our One Woman at a Time reentry program and received assistance with housing, transportation, clothing, employment and family reunification 1,040 holiday cards were provided for incarcerated women to send to their family, friends and children in seeking their forgiveness and restoration 26 children whose mothers are incarcerated or recently released received backpacks, school supplies and new clothing and shoes 2,225 personal hygiene kits were provided to indigent women throughout the state And that doesn’t count what can not be counted … encouragement, hope and accountability.
